The Awesome Cast

Here are shots of the amazing cast.  These kids did a great job!!! They had three showings of the play and each one was fantastic.  Mitchell almost broke a table in the first show by bursting out of the closet a little to robustly, but it all turned out great.  Congrats boys, you did a phenominal job!!! ;)

The Billingsley Heist

Both Mitch and Stockton were in this year's high school play.  Stockton played the role of the con man attempting to steal possessions from the Billingsley mansion.  Mitchell played the part of Hank who was a potential online dating prospect for one of the other cast members.  Here are some great shots of them at work. . .

Mad Scientists

It is science fair time again.  Ironically, both boys decided on project where they got to play with fire, WIERD!!!!  Parker imploded cans and Brigham created carbon dioxide to extinguish a flame.

Our View

I usually don't think of winter is a time for beautiful sunrises and sunsets, but here are two perfect examples of why we love living in the middle of nowhere. . .

The End of an Era

Jared has been in the video business for the last 20 years.  That era ended with the close of last year when the company he worked for was sold and he was laid off.  Here is a photo of our last days in the warehouse where we spent many hours working.

He and two of the people from that company have started a new software/web business and hope to get that off the ground and turn it into something big.  Although it will take time to get the new company out of the ground, he has alread sold a website and hopes to launch a whole new career in this area.

In the meantime, it is necessary to find a job that supports our family.  It took about two months, but now he is working for a previous employer and trying to build that company.  Even though he is in unfamiliar territory in the coffee business, he is already working on constructing new buildings and working on ways to sell and distribute to new customers. 

Christmas Wonder

It was a very laid back Christmas at our home.  I was not able to spend much time with the boys since we were right in the middle of inventory at the Scout Office.  But, they had a good holiday.  The older boys show their casual side lounging in their new beanbags, while Parker and Brigham were over the moon with a new Nintendo DS.

Moose-O-Rama

The moose were very friendly this year and visited our yard many times.  Harley thinks she is sooooo tough!! Here is a photo of her taking on the moose.  You go get em' girl. . .
