The End of an Era

Jared has been in the video business for the last 20 years.  That era ended with the close of last year when the company he worked for was sold and he was laid off.  Here is a photo of our last days in the warehouse where we spent many hours working.

He and two of the people from that company have started a new software/web business and hope to get that off the ground and turn it into something big.  Although it will take time to get the new company out of the ground, he has alread sold a website and hopes to launch a whole new career in this area.

In the meantime, it is necessary to find a job that supports our family.  It took about two months, but now he is working for a previous employer and trying to build that company.  Even though he is in unfamiliar territory in the coffee business, he is already working on constructing new buildings and working on ways to sell and distribute to new customers.
