State Cross Country Meet

Stockton finished his high school cross country career with a great performance at State.  He has enjoyed the sport and the team soooo much!!!  The last "longest 3 miles" of his life!

Blue Man Mania!!!

As a special treat, we took the boys to the Blue Man Group concert when it came to Billings.  We didn't do a family vacation this year with the summer so full of other things, so this was a nice substitute.  The boys had a blast!!!

It was FANTASTIC. . .what a great way to spend time together as a family!!!

We had the missionaries over for dinner one Sunday.  They came to the door and informed us that there was a moose about 10 yards from the deck.  It is nice to see these beautiful animals around the house again.  We don't like how dangerous they are, but they sure are fun to watch.

This year all three boys ran cross country.  It was Stockton's 5th and final year, Parker's first year and Brigham's second year.  They did a great job carrying on the Smith running legacy.

Jared's OTHER Passion

He didn't get to go out much this year, but he did talk about hunting A LOT!!!!!  We don't have an elk in the freezer, but that is not from a lack of trying on Jared's part.  Those animals are super smart and way too fast!

How did the summer fly by?

This summer went by way too fast!!! The goofballs on the first day of school.  This was the best photo I could get-ugh!!
