Moose-O-Rama

The moose were very friendly this year and visited our yard many times.  Harley thinks she is sooooo tough!! Here is a photo of her taking on the moose.  You go get em' girl. . .

Brigham in Double Digits

Brigham is now in double digits with his birthday being number 10 this year.  He had a lego cake and enjoyed getting many new legos to tinker with.

Cross Country State Meet at Missoula

Stockton went to State this year for cross-country and the boys did very well considering they are in the B Class now instead of the C Class.  They are competing against much bigger schools, but it did not seem to phase our fantastic team.  Way to go Stockton, he was moved from JV to Varsity about half way through the year.  Both boys hope to be at state next year and Mitch really wants to place.

Time to get caught up. . .hang on

I have been very slack in keeping the blog updated.  I have all the photos on my computer now, so here we go. . .

We left off in September so we will pick up from there.  Parker played football this year.  Here he is in a game at home, just about to take a kid out.  He is a great tackler and loved playing this year for the 6th grade team.

Old-fashioned, small town fun. . .

Here are a few more treats from the Fall Festival.  Snowcones, tug-o-war, banjo/guitar/base/ukelale music, and of course, try hitting these goofy mugs with a beanbag!!!

Fall Festival 2011

Each year in Joliet, there is a Fall Festival put on by one of the local churches.  Basically, the park is full of food, fun, games and sights to see.  It is all free and everyone is invited.  Here is a taste of fall in Joliet, Montana. . .
Face painting, mutant pumpkins, guess the pig's weight, pie judging contest and kettle corn

Run Like the Wind

Cross Country season has started!!!  The boys are off to a great start.  At his first meet, Mitchell shave 2 1/2 minutes of his time from the same meet from last year.  Stockton is now running JV and is doing really well, his times are just about 5 minutes behind the top varsity runners.  Their first meet was in Pony.  There were some interesting ponies that I could not resist taking photos of. . .

This race is actually pretty greulling.  It is full of numerous hills and most of the course is gravel (which stinks to run on).  The boys did a great job though.
Good job guys, this is a really tough sport.  As their t-shirts this year say: No time outs, No bench, No half-time, welcome to my world.
